Be Part of Those Who Shape ISGC!

Joining ISGC as a member means becoming part of a family dedicated to worship, service, and community. Membership gives you opportunities to stay connected through regular updates, attend exclusive members-only gatherings, receive special discounts, and—after completing the associate membership period—help shape the future of ISGC by voting and running for office. These guidelines are here to make sure membership is open, fair, and welcoming to all who call ISGC their masjid.

Membership Tiers

Family Membership

For households with multiple family members over the age of 15, such as children, or parents living at the same address.

Couple Membership

For married couples with no children over 15 and no other adults living in the household.

Single Membership

For individuals living alone or without any other adults at the same address.

Membership Details

Associate Member

All new members will be considered "Associate Members". Associate Members do NOT have the right to vote or run for office.

Regular Member

After completing two consecutive years as an Associate Member, you may become a Regular Member with full voting rights and eligibility to run for office.

Multi-Masjid Member

Anyone who holds a membership at another masjid may only join ISGC as an Associate Member. They can NOT vote or become Regular Members.

Age Requirement

All members must be 15 years of age or older.

Unmarried children living away for education ONLY are considered part of the household. If your children are away for work, they are NOT considered part of your household.

Membership Household

All memberships are based on household address. Family memberships are not based on relationship but based on the household address. (Example: If your son resides at a different address, they must have their own membership)

Membership Radius

Must live within a 50-mile radius of ISGC (7025 The Plaza Rd. Charlotte, NC 28215) in order to be eligible for a membership.
